Background:
Dr. Anand Patel
is a member of the JLR Medical Group, which provides anesthesia, critical care, and pain management services to Florida Hospital. He completed his fellowship in interventional pain management at Cornell in 2008. Prior to that, he completed his residency in anesthesiology at New York Presbyterian-Cornell in 2007. He finished his internship at New York Presbyterian-Cornell. He attended medical school at Georgetown University where he successfully graduated with a Master's Degree in Physiology and Biophysics. Dr. Patel is proud to have attended the University of Florida’s College of Medicine, which he graduated from in 2003. He had also done his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Neuroscience in 1998. He is an active member of the American Board of Anesthesiology, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. Dr. Patel’s principle areas of interest include chronic spine pain with use of fluoroscopy guided injection therapy along with radiofrequency.
