Dr. Suresh Kannan
is an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the JLR Medical Group which provides anesthesia, critical care, and pain management services to Florida Hospital. Dr. Kannan completed his fellowship training in pain medicine at Brigham and Womens Hospital at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He also carried out his residency in anesthsiology at Brigham and Womens Hospital, Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Hospital/Metro West Medical Center in Framingham, Massachusetts. Dr. Kannan has been published over twenty times in various pain management publications and journals. Dr. Kannan is certified through the American Board of Anesthesiology and is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, International Anesthesia Research Society, International Association for the Study of Pain, Anesthesia History Association, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia. Dr. Kannans principle areas of interest include cancer pain management, interventional pain management, and spinal cord stimulator implantation for management of intractable angina.
