Background:
Dr. Diego Guerrero
is an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the JLR Medical Group, which provides anesthesia, critical care, and pain management services to Florida Hospital. Dr. Guerrero completed a pain management fellowship at the Brigham and Womens Hospital, Harvard Medical School, including rotations at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Spaulding Rehabilitation Center. Prior to that, he was an attending anesthesiologist and instructor of anesthesia at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his anesthesia residency at St. Elizabeths Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He also participated in conducting research at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Guerrero attended the University of Conception School of Medicine in Conception, Chile, where he achieved the degree Doctor of Medicine. He is fellowship-trained in Adult and Pediatric Trauma. He is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Medical Association, the Pan American Medical Association, the Florida Society of Anesthesiology, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the Florida Society of Pain Medicine, and the International Spinal Injection Society. Dr. Guerreros principle areas of interest include chronic spine pain with use of fleuroscopy guided injection therapy along with radiofrequency.
